If you are redirected to the website of a bank, card issuer, airline, loyalty program or other company, any data you enter there is processed by that company under its own privacy policy.
- Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
We process personal data only for specific, legitimate purposes and, for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, always on one of the legal bases in Article 6(1) of the GDPR:
- Operating, securing and preventing fraud on the Site (technical logs, strictly necessary cookies) — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing a secure, working website.
- Audience measurement and usage statistics (analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through our cookie banner.
- Displaying personalized advertising (advertising cookies, such as those used by Google) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through our cookie banner.
- Measuring and optimizing campaigns that promote the Site (Meta Pixel) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through our cookie banner.
- Tracking affiliate links (cookies that record that you reached a partner website through our links) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through our cookie banner.
- Displaying non-personalized advertising — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the Site’s content free.
- Responding to messages sent through the Contact Us page — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations and requests from public authorities — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we process only the data strictly necessary and we have balanced those interests against your rights and freedoms. You may object to this processing at any time (see Section 9).
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser or device when you visit a website. We use the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the Site to work and stay secure, including storing your consent choices. They cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Analytics or performance cookies: help us measure audience and understand how the Site is used (for example, Google Analytics, which may be managed through Google Tag Manager). Set only with your consent.
- Advertising cookies: used by Google and other advertising partners to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure campaign performance, possibly taking into account your visits to this and other websites. Personalized advertising cookies are set only with your consent.
- Campaign measurement pixels: the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) lets us measure campaigns that promote Belive Digital on those platforms and show ads to people who have visited the Site. Set only with your consent.
- Affiliate cookies: let our affiliate partners know that you reached their website through one of our links. Set only with your consent.
Managing your choices: when you first visit the Site, you can accept, reject or customize non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. Under the GDPR, consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous (Art. 4(11) and Art. 7 GDPR), and you may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, through the same banner or your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent you from accessing the Site’s content.

- How We Share Personal Data
Belive Digital does not sell personal data for money. We share personal data only in the following cases and only to the extent necessary:
- Advertising, analytics and affiliate partners, such as Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google advertising services), Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) and affiliate programs, which act as processors or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies;
- Technology service providers, such as hosting, security and email providers, which process data on our behalf and under our instructions (processors under Article 28 of the GDPR and “service providers” under the CCPA);
- Public authorities, when required by law, court order or to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation;
- To establish, exercise or defend our legal rights in judicial, administrative or arbitration proceedings;
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We require partners with whom we share data to maintain a level of protection compatible with applicable data protection laws.
- International Data Transfers
ACTIO DIGITAL BUSINESS LLC is based in the United States, and some of our partners, such as Google and Meta, also store and process data on servers located outside your country. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your country.
When we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as transfers to recipients certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum). You may request more information about these safeguards by contacting us.
- Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Server and access logs (IP address, date and time): up to 6 (six) months;
- Messages received through the Contact Us page: up to 12 (twelve) months after your request is closed, unless we need to keep them longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- Cookies: according to each cookie’s expiry period or until you delete them or withdraw your consent.
After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.
- Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or dissemination (Art. 32 GDPR). These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems and regular updates of the tools we use. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent supervisory authority and, where required, the affected individuals, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR and other applicable breach notification laws.
- Your Rights Under the GDPR and UK GDPR (EEA and UK Residents)
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it;
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to erasure, or “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17): request deletion of your data;
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): ask us to limit how we use your data;
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller;
- Right to object (Art. 21): object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to processing for direct marketing purposes;
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- Rights related to automated decision-making (Art. 22): not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. A list of EU authorities is available at https://edpb.europa.eu, and in the UK you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk).
We will respond to your request within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by two further months where necessary, considering the complexity and number of requests, in which case we will inform you (Art. 12(3) GDPR). Exercising your rights is free of charge, except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
- Your Rights Under the CCPA (California Residents)
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Policy. Where we meet the applicability thresholds of the CCPA, California residents have the rights described below.
10.1. Categories of personal information we collect: in the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined in the CCPA:
- Identifiers: IP address, cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers; name and email address (only if you contact us);
- Internet or other electronic network activity information: browsing history on the Site, pages viewed, interactions with ads and links;
- Geolocation data: approximate location derived from your IP address (not precise geolocation);
- Inferences drawn from the above: interests used to personalize advertising.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined in the CCPA for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
Sources: directly from you (when you contact us) and automatically from your device through cookies and similar technologies, including those of our advertising and analytics partners.
Business purposes: operating and securing the Site, analytics, advertising and marketing, responding to your messages and complying with the law, as described in Section 3.
Retention: as described in Section 7.
10.2. Sale and sharing of personal information: we do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing advertising and analytics partners (such as Google and Meta) to collect identifiers and internet activity through cookies and pixels on the Site may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. In the last 12 months, we may have “sold” or “shared” identifiers, internet activity information and inferences with advertising and analytics partners. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
10.3. Your rights: as a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed, sold or shared it;
- Delete: request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of sale or sharing: direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information: although we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to this right;
- Non-discrimination: not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
10.4. How to opt out of sale or sharing: you can opt out by (i) clicking “Reject” or adjusting your choices for advertising, analytics and affiliate cookies in our cookie banner, which also serves as our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism; (ii) emailing us at [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”; or (iii) enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we treat as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.
10.5. How to submit requests: send your request to [email protected] or use the Contact Us page (https://belivedigital.com/contact-us/). To protect your data, we will verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we hold. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require written proof of the agent’s authorization and verify your identity directly. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, which may be extended by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
10.6. Other U.S. states: residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. You can exercise these rights through the same channels described above. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Appeal”.
10.7. California “Shine the Light”: California residents may request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes by contacting us at the email above.
- Users in Brazil (LGPD)
If you are in Brazil, you may exercise the rights provided in Article 18 of the LGPD, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about data sharing and withdrawal of consent, through the channels in Section 14. You may also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at www.gov.br/anpd.
- Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or the minimum age set by the law of your country under Article 8 of the GDPR) or under 13 in the United States, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have collected such data without valid parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
- Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as banks, card issuers, airlines, loyalty programs, affiliate partners and informational sources. These websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
